[Support] Logging into NetMAX on Vista 1. Logging into NetMAX on Vista Computers using Vista may have problems logging into NetMAX, and/or may be restricted when authenticating to shared folders. If you cannot authenticate when accessing a shared folder from a computer running Vista (to a NetMAX, network device and/or computer running pre-XP Windows such as 98/55 or a non-Windows OS), the cause may be a mismatch in NTLM 2 support. This protocol is used for file and printer sharing connections by default in Vista. To resolve this issue, try one of the following procedures:

have upgraded to Internet Explorer version 7 may encounter Certificate
Errors when trying to open the NetMAX interface. This is
caused by an issue between IE7's standard security settings and This issue can be easily resolved by going into IE7's "Internet Options" and "allowing" the use of the NetMAX server certificate via the "Certificates" setting. A more detailed description of the procedure is available here:
